When it's time to cut back, or #eat less, I have a few #snack options that I wanted to share with you. Been testing these Think bars, and the taste is not bad, #protein content is high for a #meal #bar, and it does say low GI on there.
What is GI? Glycemic Index (food options that do not impact your blood sugar) so, this is what got me to use this bar in the first place. When I used to work for VW, I tried just about every bar and #supplement you can think of, sups were HUGE, Ronnie Coleman & Jay Cutler were on the covers of muscle mags I used to read and so, after trying every single ad I read about, as you may have guessed, I got tired of the fake taste and texture of many bars. I was like; Wow! Chewing this is really giving my jaw a #workout!
Many of these bars left you bloated, gassy or unsatisfied. This is why I prefer whole foods.
Now, usually I have 1 whole egg or 3 egg whites or single portion of hummus in place of the bar with the foods you see here. There are more protein ratios in this blog https://www.templeoflight.ninja/post/ratios-for-portioning egg & organic hummus is way more digestible and light, however, sometimes you get a hankering for some chocolate and peanut butter or some cake thing! We all do, so I'm not gonna lie and tell you I don't. These think bars are doing it for sugar cravings without the spike in insulin which can in turn lead to #diabetes, which is definitely a genetic thing and a scare, as I am in my 40's.

for a #show and for me, if my tummy is too full I'm slow and sluggish. #poledance & #aerial make you crazy hungry though, and blood sugars can drop fast, which is equally as dangerous. We ain't just doing a few leg lifts and talking about our life woes or lounging in the name of #fitness
Some people really cannot handle my #class and all the #physical tasks that come with it, I also set boundaries so, those who don't have any, hate them.
I'm not a people pleaser. I am a #trainer who expects to see progress. This, however, is another post for another day!
Back to dem snacks;
The bar will last approx 2-3 hrs and after, no, I can't have another. As texture and taste are good, I still need some lean fish and egg noodles with spinach if I want to lift, (whether it's my body or weights) right, and keep my definition. The bar still has questionable preservative things and high sat fat content, and also a good amount of sodium (salt), how else are they gonna make it soft & taste good? Lol! Still, this bar beats anything with too many gums and a list of preservatives longer than this post!


As we said in other #blogs about #wellness #preservatives cause addiction & binge eating can change your mood, feelings and palete. Constantly having the wrong foods can make you irritable, and slow, as is the case with too much alcohol, smoke, and perscription pills. Then you have externals like SM, Video games & streaming TV. Yes, I'm afraid addiction is everywhere!
Protect yourself with #knowledge, I'm no MD, and if you have a nut allergy, I'll be looking out for an alternative for you.
Try the egg instead! This brand should have another flavor for you to try, just read disclaimers.
Simply not eating, or "fasting" is also a double-edged sword. I do this when I've eaten way too much in the last meal. We need energy. We must #educate ourselves because it's our bodies we can never replace and our physical health leads to more stable mental health. This post is a #review this company is not paying me to talk about them, so I want to make that clear.
